Topic-“Bear Necessities” As the Lower Mainland continues to grow, subdivisions are expanding outwards into traditional black bear habitat. This workshop will examine ways that humans and bears can peacefully co-exist. Topics will include common attractants in residential areas as well as ways to help make a bear encounter a peaceful and memorable experience as opposed to a frightening and potentially dangerous one. Participants are encouraged to share their own experiences
