Kilby Historic Site is the perfect place for a trip down memory lane. Literally! Join us each day at 2pm for a heritage walking tour down to the confluence of the Fraser and Harrison Rivers. An interpreter will show you archival photographs of the old town site of Harrison Mills and deliver a short history of the area including First Nations, transportation and the industry this town was famous for.
The Kilby Museum is a 1920’s Fraser Valley living history site complete with costumed interpreters. This 5 acre BC Heritage attraction includes our 1906 General Store Museum, Manchester House Hotel & Post Office, as well as farming exhibits and orchard playground. BC’s Museum of Rural History!
The Fraser Heritage Society will also be on site conducting a membership drive. Your memberships help collect , preserve, research and interpret the unique history of the Kilby family and the general store and farm they operated. Educational programming, exhibits, programs for seniors and publications are all part of the Society’s mandate to bring awareness of the importance of heritage to the public.
