Description:

Eagle Point Community Park provides one of the best opportunities to view Bald Eagles in the Chehalis River Estuary. Trumpeter Swans and many other waterfowl and bird species join about a thousand Bald Eagles that congregate near this vantage point to feed on salmon. Also, chum salmon gather right in front of the site and are easily observed as they spawn. An onsite park ranger with spotting scopes, a tent and patio heater will be there to answer questions along with bird experts from Wild Birds Unlimited

Spotting scopes generously provided by Vortex
